Tiger Woods has seen surprising support from golf experts and from his many business associates, especially in light of the nature of the scandal surrounding him.

In his golf records, Tiger Woods has a 64 worldwide wins including 56 wins in a PGA Tour, 12 major championships. Top-ranked Tiger Woods, who rebounded from major reconstructive knee surgery to win six times on tour in 2009, was named PGA Tour Player of the Year for the 10th time in voting. He previously won the award in 1997, 1999-2003 and 2005-07.

Tiger Woods then went 5-0 to help lead the U.S. to victory over the International Team in The Presidents Cup in San Francisco. He concluded the year by winning the JBWere Masters in Australia. In Tiger Woods public statement, he mentioned his golf plans, “I want to thank the PGA Tour, Commissioner Finchem and the players for their patience and understanding while I work on my private life. I look forward to seeing my fellow players on the course, I do plan to return to golf one day, I just don't know when that day will be.”
